Water for Relaxation

Have you ever sat on the beach or by a lake or fountain to relax? Just sitting quietly by a fountain or waterfall can instantly calm you down and relax your mind, body and soul.

Water (falling from the waves, a fountain or evaporating from the plants) actually creates many thousands of negative hydrogen ions, which join with the positive free electrons thus neutralizing their electric charge and eventually making the air pleasant and relaxing overall.

Negative hydrogen ions also have a positive effect on the serotonin levels in the body. Serotonin is said to play an important part in shaping mood, sleep and eating patterns. This explains why you feel happy and relaxed when you are around fresh, flowing water. But is it feasible for you to always visit a water fall or beach?

Fountain in Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza
I have an indoor water fountain in my healing space. If you're unable to visit me immediately for a healing experience, there are 'water' locations in the Phoenix metro area where you can go to relieve yourself from stress naturally - for free. Here's one location in the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza. Surrounded by fruit trees and rose flowers, it provides seating around the fountain and a shady area for relaxation and quiet contemplation.

If you're interested in a one-to-one healing experience, or having me as a travel companion for a weekend get-away, vacation, cruise, or workshop partner, or as a companion for theater, opera, black tie, corporate or dinner events, please email me for information.
