Kick back and relax on National Relaxation Day

Today is National Relaxation Day! It's often difficult to find time to 'chillax' (chill out and relax!) But you must do it - as the saying goes, "If you do not have time for wellness, you have plenty of time for illness."


 
So here are some ways you can relax:
  • Try to add 5-10 minutes of meditation, a quick 'cat nap' or a few minutes of silence with the cell phone, and computer off.
  • Add a hour of relaxation into your weekly rotine. Take a yoga class, go for a walk or hike, sit quietly by one of the many outdoor fountains in the Phoenix area...
  • Visit a museum or public library.
  • Add some relaxing aromatherapy to your home.
  • Go on a spiritual retreat.
  • Sit on the beach or by a lake.
  • Experience a totally relaxing energy healing or massage session.
