If you have ever taken a yoga class, you're familiar with what is usually the final asana (position) - savasana. It is also called the 'corpse position'.
In this position, your whole body is completely relaxed (on the floor) - all muscular tension, and even your control of breath and any thoughts in your mind are released. In yoga, the duration of this position can last up to 30 minutes, although in Western yoga classes, it may be as short as 5 minutes.
Savasana is a good way to reduce stress and tension and is intended to rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit.
During a one-to-one healing, while you will not be on the floor or in the traditional 'corpse' position, you will be in a relaxed position, similar to savasana - all thoughts of the outside world, and real life stress disappear from your mind, while all muscles are soft and free of tension.
