Egyptian Erotic Papyrus

This New Kingdom papyrus was found at Deir el Medine. It has an interesting, and funny mixture of erotic scenes and animal satire. On the surface, the satires appear to be straight forward: various animals are engaged in human activities - from playing the harp to waging war, including a lotus crowned cat making love to a goose. These kinds of depictions have been seen in other ancient finds and seem to have amused the ancient Egyptians.

Some have speculated on what this was, including, a depiction of whorehouse scenes, ancient pornography, a satire on the sexual desires of elderly men, a sex manual or was it depicting fertility rites?
